Florida Building Code (FBC) Class Plan
Travelers of Florida offers two class plans for property policyholders, a basic plan and a FBC plan. The FBC plan provides discounts for structures containing windstorm mitigation features.
You may participate in the FBC plan by submitting a Travelers of Florida Windstorm Mitigation Verification Form, completed by a certified contractor, architect, engineer or building inspector, to the company.
The potential discounts in the FBC plan vary greatly and there will generally be a charge to have the form completed, so you should consult with your agent or representative before having the verification form completed. The links below provide additional information about the new plan.
